Farm Staff

RiverHorse Farm is owned and managed by equine veterinarian and Preliminary event rider Matthew Eliott, DVM. Full-time barn managers Courtney Penachio and Suezy Frietas are professionally educated and highly detail oriented, experienced horsewomen. Skilled longtime grooms Mario, Daniel, and Ronnie provide the essential backbone of the farm. Our dedicated team consistently maintains the highest standard of individualized care for every horse.

Mikki Kuchta

Four-star event rider and ICP-certified instructor Mikki Kuchta teaches all levels of competitive event riders from Beginner Novice to Intermediate. Although many of Mikki's students qualify for and win at various national Championships (including AEC and NAJYRC), most students event for fun and just enjoy setting and meeting their own goals. We have a wonderful team with a wide range of experience and abilities and we really enjoy ourselves, doing something we all love. There is a group going to an event almost every weekend in Areas 1 and 2, and winter training is available in Aiken, South Carolina. Mikki's website can be seen at www.aikenbachfarm.com.
